The Sparksis team took an exhibition booth at the Wind Operations Europe event on 5 and 6 March, in Munich.
The event was an opportunity to listen to leading European players on the challenges of wind farms O&M in the context of a changing electrical system. As a result, we’ve gathered some interesting statements heard at the various conferences below:
– Reducing O&M costs is becoming vital at a time of declining production subsidies
– Standardised data is needed to facilitate communication between market players
– The introduction of predictive maintenance tools will minimise unforeseen downtimes
– Digital solutions deliver significant gains to improving operations and maintenance practices
– The arrival on the market of smart energy control centres (VPPs) will revolutionise the integration of renewable energy in the sector.
